Collecting for Haiti

Following Brooklyn Tech's collection for displaced Haitians, we have some more info on who's collecting.

-Council Member Darlene Mealy, of the (nearby) 41st district in Central Brooklyn, will be collecting relief items of non-perishable food, clothing, blankets and other necessities, for the victims of the devastating earthquake. Any such items can be brought to her office at 1757 Union Street (near Utica Avenue), anytime during office hours Monday thru Saturday from (9am-6pm).

-The Brooklyn-based St. Paul Community Baptist Church (SPCBC) is the Brooklyn drop-off point for Yele Haiti. Items requested are blankets, solar flash lights, power bars/protein bars, clothes, and medical supplies. Financial donations are also accepted, and checks or money orders should be made out to St. Paul Community Baptist Church with "Yele Haiti" in the memo line (click the above link to donate online).
