Update: TLC Group Ride Vehicle Program

The TLC Group Ride Vehicle Program that is being put into place to service eliminated bus routes will begin September 27th for the B71 bus line, the only former-line that affects the 35th District included in the program.

ATTENTION: TLC Proposes Group Ride Vehicle Program To Run Cut Service Lines

NYC's Taxi & Limousine Commission’s Group Ride Vehicle Program is a new type of service providing point-to-point, shared ride service among specified pick-up and drop-off locations (marked by a sign). Drop-offs occur at fixed stops, or pre-agreed locations. The program is focused on MTA service areas that have been eliminated.

The cost varies, but will be no more than $2.

The proposed service areas span the former routes of three Brooklyn bus lines, one which runs through the 35th district.
