ATTENTION: Nuts and Bolts

Quick note on the blog-

The blogger layout may be confusing to some, so we wanted to make a few quick notes to help with easy navigation.

-The newest (most recent) posts are at the top.
-To read about posts regarding a specific subject, the easiest way is to click the tags (or "labels") at the bottom of the post. This way, all posts regarding that subject (i.e.- having that tag) will display.
-If you do not find the information you are looking for, you may search the blog for a specific term (or terms) by entering that term in the search box at the top of your page.
These search methods are important to note because it is unlikely we'll be posting multiple times on the same subject if there is no significant update to give on the matter.

As always, please email the writer of the post (they will be noted at the bottom on the blog, click their name to go to their user page where you can access their email address. Mine is aworthydavis@council.nyc.gov)- or even simpler- leave a comment if there are any questions or comments about any post. Also, we're interested in hearing what we can do to make the blog better, or easier to navigate. Lastly, what subjects would you like to read more about?

I'd love to see a professional writer contribute to this blog!
And possibly a web developer to assist with the anequated layout.
Tish, you've been doing such a great job for your constituents, now it's time to hire a team of intellectual staff members. Until then all Senatorial dreams are just that.... Dreams!

Thanks for the comments. The “Team Tish” blog, a free blog offered by google, and the website www.letitiajames.info, for that matter, is a work in progress. We are always looking for ways to simplify navigation of the blog, and we’d appreciate any feedback in this regard. It is, however, important to understand the purpose of the blog. In our first post, we noted the following goals:

1). We want to build a dialog with internet-based media.
2). We want to get you information that pertains to Brooklyn's 35th District as fast as possible, before the newsletter, before the mailings.
3). We want to hear what you think!

There are a number of blogs that focus on various aspects of Brooklyn life. We provide information on Council Member James’ work in the 35th District and in the City Council. On these matters, we feel it’s important that we have an open dialogue with constituents. We love working for Council Member James and serving the district, which is where our complete focus- and Tish’s- lie. :)
