Dr. Robert Waterman, President African American Clergy , Elected Officials, as well as the Community rally in opposition of Mayor Bloomberg's decision to extend term limits vis City Council Legislation without voter input

Council Member Letitia James, Council Member Bill de Blasio, and Clergy stand behind the decision made by New York City voters. Any action to extend term limits for elected officials in the City of New York should be put to a voter referendum.
