If Martin Luther King Jr. and Malcolm X had a conversation what would they have said? That fictitious 1965 meeting is the subject of the award-winning play by Jeff Stetson. These two iconic figures of the civil rights movement come to life this Thursday at Kumble Theater. Check it out!

The Meeting is an engaging & intelligent play that depicts a fictional account of a secret meeting between Malcolm X & Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Following the bombing of Malcolm X's home and shortly before he was assassinated, Malcolm and Martin meet in a room inside the historic Theresa Hotel. They were two men with different ideologies, but a common understanding of the plight of Black America.
